What Is PCSCC?
Pastoral Care Spiritual Companionship Counseling (PCSCC) is a ministry we would like to offer for our Parishioners of the Parish of Saint Mary and then to our Cohort 13 Parishes for those afflicted by COVID-19 PTSD.
PCSCC is offered to help provide spiritual consolation and recovery resource information for those who thirst for grace and healing. In addition, we will help shepherd you through these difficult times by providing Information and Formation for your Transformation.
How will the training be offered?
The PCSCC can be offered virtually, in person, or a combined virtual and In-person format.
Sessions will be offered every Tuesday at 7 pm at the Parish of Saint Mary Church Office. A typical session schedule would span an hour each week for seven weeks.
Who is his Faith-Based Counseling Model Designed for?
PCSCC is a parish and Community-based initiative designed for those going through trauma or for their family members, trying to find a way to cope and heal. Such individuals recognize the devastation and scourge on themselves or their families, which sadly has been exacerbated due to the isolation brought on by several types of addictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Additionally, this Faith-Based Counseling Model aligns with those engaged in Fellowships of Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous, or other ministries such as Bereavement, Stephen Ministry, and Prison, Re-entry, and Respect Life ministries. Ultimately, the PCSCC offers useful knowledge and tools for anyone with a strong affinity for recognizing the face of Christ, who is our Shepherd and King.
What does PCSCC provide?
As part of the PCSCC, we give necessary scriptural coping methods and strategies for long term plan for the future.
