Readers

The reader proclaims the Word of God at Mass, prayer services, and other events.

Typical tasks and responsibilities:
Proclaim the Word at Mass, with prayerful enthusiasm and confidence.

Required training or skills (if applicable):
Strong public speaking skills, a desire to share the word with others, 

Approximate time commitment:
30 minutes to 1 hour for pre-Mass preparation.  Readers serve 1-2 times per month and attend an annual training session.
